Alan and Patricia Davey, both British citizens, left pastoral ministry in North Wales in 2005 to serve in Bordeaux, France, accompanied by their son and daughter.

After studies in Biology and a career in information technology, Alan trained for pastoral ministry with the Evangelical Movement of Wales. He then served in Independent Church Ministry while Patricia was nursing.

Now they serve as founders of Bordeaux Church (Eglise Internationale de Bordeaux). Their wider interests include music and literature.
