STEVE LISTON
Steve Liston has served on the board of ICC Eurasia since 2022.
As a U.S. diplomat and international government relations executive based in Washington, DC for three decades, Steve has traveled abroad extensively and served at six overseas posts in Latin America, Europe and Africa, where he and his family were actively engaged in international churches.
Steve is a Bible study leader and Entrust Coach for Precept Ministries International, a volunteer with the diplomatic ministry of Christian Embassy, and a Ruling Elder at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Maryland, where he and his wife Susan, a Spanish tutor, have been members for almost 30 years and raised their three children. Steve and Susan have recently been appointed to serve as missionaries with the Evangelical Alliance Mission with the goal of planting an ICC-E church in Madrid, Spain.
Born and raised in California, Steve earned a bachelor of arts degree in political economy from UC Berkeley and holds master of arts degrees in law and diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and in religion from Reformed Theological Seminary.
In addition to his native English, Steve is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French and Portuguese.
